Suggested citation for first paragraph of Tournaments and leagues (Modern play):

Malaysia XiangQi Association. "Welcome to Malaysia XiangQi Association (Persatuan Xiang Qi Malaysia) Official Website". https://en.xiangqi.org.my/. Retrieved 31 December 2024.

"Although xiangqi has its origin in Asia, there are xiangqi leagues and clubs all over the world. Each European nation generally has its own governing league; for example, in Britain, xiangqi is regulated by the United Kingdom Chinese Chess Association. Asian countries also have nationwide leagues, such as the Malaysia Chinese Chess Association.[citation needed]" Jmoore9393 (talk) 14:20, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: Can you specify where on that site supports that paragraph because I can't see it? Ultraodan (talk) 17:35, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar

In the history section of this article, I think we should add the word "the" for Korean Peninsula. 2402:800:5D9A:9911:FDC8:E77:962A:EF88 (talk) 21:15, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It is true that Southern Song Xiangqi is the earliest modern Xiangqi discovered, however we do not know whether modern Xiangqi existed before that or not. I suggest we add a note to show the idea that Southern Song Dynasty Xiangqi is only the earliest discovered Xiangqi, both in the history section and the infobox. 2401:D800:9F70:301C:B64F:54BD:41A0:5200 (talk) 04:47, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
